AustraliaWhat is not to like? Paulo was so welcoming and it is evident he is proud of Casa Amarela as he should be. From the kitchen equipped with a free coffee machine, plus 3 other types of coffee makers, to the fridge and kitchen shelves labelled with our room name. They also had a luggage store room with sun screen, beach umbrellas and power adaptors for any country. We were first in a standard room and then moved to a terrace room. This had a lovely terrace, fridge and plenty of room. The wine was a nice touch as well. And finally the pool and sun area, so great during a hot day. Would highly recommend Casa Amarela as it made our trip to Albufeira memorable.

Very attentive staff and food is simply delicious, breakfast and also dinner. The spa has this zen feeling and staff is super friendly. Very clean, cleaners cleaned room daily, fresh towels etc. Loved the fact that there is a private access to The Beautiful Beach from the complex. We stayed half board and whilst the food wasn’t an amazing selection we still managed to make a meal out of it. There are shops on site for amenities, snacks, drinks gifts, ice-cream etc. The staff were friendly and helpful. Love that you can use any of the pools from the other Alfagar accommodations.

Maria is a lovely host. It is clear that Maria takes pride in providing her guests with a comfortable stay. The accommodations were right in the heart of Albufeira with restaurants, bars, shops and the beach all just outside the front door. Maria was flexible with check-in and check-out and consistently checked on me and how my stay was going. If you're looking for less of a hotel experience and more of an authentic B&B type experience, Maria's guesthouse is the way to go.

Bertolina Guest House is a very traditional Portuguese establishment with very beautiful features to offer.
We prefer to stay in local accommodations to get a feel for the local culture.

Great spot. The strip is couple a min away but far enough to not hear the sounds. Privat area! Aldi across the street. Old strip on the other side of it. The Hop on hop off bus stop is almost at the door. Just an amazing spot. Highly recommended for a quiet stay! Has all accommodations for children too. So the family stay is perfect at this location. You can see the ocean from there. What else do you need!

Absolutely lovely place to stay studio was perfect for 2 people everything you need for a self-catering holiday was provided very secure private complex swimming pool and surrounding area was lovely plenty of beds and umbrellas available the staff there are very nice and friendly very comfortable beds big supermarket 1 minute walk I would highly recommend this accommodation Will definitely go back there again

No Wi -Fi. This was a necessity for me . My brother has been in hospital and received a defibrillator, sister in law had cancer surgery on October 10th. Needed WiFi in case a medical emergency requiring us to cancel our vacation. Result was we lost our private accommodations and had to move into a 2 bedroom apartment. Wasn’t an ideal situation. Take it or leave it situation. The steep incline to main Silmar and to downtown was less than ideal for us. Booking . com didn’t ‘t really give a full description of the accommodations.

The accommodations were good and the flat was clean and very nice. For us being a bit older it would have been helpful to know you were not allowed to have sun beds or chairs, just put a towel on the grass, so sitting round the pool was not possible. This spoilt the holiday a good bit. The flat is also in a dip with a steep walk out, back up the dip. The nearest beach was down lots of steps also. So for our age group 70/80’s it was not the right place. For the younger folks - you will love it.
