Great location, friendly staff, beautifully restored heritage building. We also enjoyed the upper level terrace that had a spectacular view of kilometres of countryside. But best of all was the delicious breakfast 😊

the location was ideal, 35 minutes walk from a tranquil and charming small town saturated with history, with lots of walking routes close by. the breakfasts were fresh, lavish and beautifully presented, with oranges and juice from the garden and fresh cakes daily. the quiet surroundings were enchanting, with olive and fruit trees and carpets of wild flowers and an agile young goat. but the truly special thing about aromas was the welcome provided daily by soledad and antonio. in general, the portuguese are our favourite people, but soledad and antonio take this generosity, friendliness and warmth to another level. we felt not just thoroughly looked after, but cared for and even cared about by them. so this is not just an exceptional place but one run by exceptional, beautiful people. we will not forget them, or our fortnight at the aromas. perfection does exist. obrigadinho.
