Accommodation in Tomar

Location, cleaning, breakfast

Excellent location by the river in the center of the town. Nice and clean rooms. Very nice staff! We enjoyed our short stay very much.

Awesome location and a great family feel

The staff was extremely friendly, the facilities great and really classy. Great breakfast buffet, especially the locally made yoghurt and cakes. Ask the staff for the hidden guestlist. 😉

Very lovely suite w stovetop, fridge, counter top for meals & sweet little terrace. Very comfy bed & so quiet for sleeping! The staff were friendly & helpful. We were able to store our luggage on arrival which was great. Close to everything so easy flat waking ( excepting to castle but understandable!)

We loved our stay here. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean and well appointed. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom included a bath which we relaxed in after a day in the pouring rain! We had a nice dinner at a local restaurant recommended by staff. After that we had a drink in the lounge. It was just what we needed! We had a pleasant breakfast. I was made scrambled eggs and my husband had a selection from the continental breakfast. We had a car and used their parking which was about a 5/10 minute walk away depending on how heavy your bag is! I would definitely return to this accommadation!

Really lovely and comfortable bed, quiet and great location in old town. Not far from bus/train station. Very clean. No tea/coffee making facility though.

The location was fantastic and the room was lovely.

I loved my stay at Hotel Kamanga! Let me start with the staff. The ladies working there are so very friendly, kind and hospitable. They spoke English, but also translated things slowly in Portuguese, since I want to learn this language. They gave excellent tips about things to see and do. Always with a smile, making me feel very welcome. The room was fantastic! I booked a single room, but thought they gave me a double room because there was ample space and a bed big enough for two people. It was clean, nice hot shower, good wifi, and a decent breakfast served in a cozy area. It was quiet during the night. The hotel is located just a short stroll from the old centre and surrounded by restaurants and bars, and there's a mini preço around the corner. The best part is the view. My room was located on the third floor, overlooking the town and castle. A comfortable room with an amazing view! Can highly recommend staying here and will definitely come back!

Great relaxing place, I really enjoyed my stay. A small walk into town and was nice and quiet

Very spacious and beautiful room with wonderful balcony! The recommendations of restaurants and places to visit offered by our host were more than helpful. Mom and I truly enjoyed our one-night stay!

Quiet setting with historic value. Fabulous host that was helpful and accommodating. Easy process of getting into accommodation.

Great location, apartment, and host’s proactive and speedy response. Easy self check in and out. Very clean and comfortable. Lovely touch.

Perfect location, excellent amenities, attentive hostess Rita, delicious breakfast , cosy atmosphere.

From the friendly welcome from Sophie to our departure via taxi, we were thoroughly enchanted with Casa da Avo Genoveva. The rooms are beautiful and authentically Portuguese, the honesty bar meant we could enjoy a drink together sitting in their lovely courtyard. This is a delightful, family run establishment.

Lovely place, amazing host, everything was delightful. Would recommend 👌 👍

The attention of the staff. Since there were no guests before it was possible to check-in earlier, leave the baggage and put the stuffs on the house. The kitchen is fully equipped.

The apartment is perfectly located, a 2-minute walk from the central square and 15 minutes from the castle. Shops and restaurants are very close. It's immaculately clean, well-maintained, and has an interesting design. The kitchen is fully equipped. The bathroom has a large water heater.

It was good that the owner ensured I understood exactly what I had booked and what to expect. Also he allowed us to come in earlier than listed because we were very tired.

Excellent 👍 great location

We were met and given somewhere to put our bags. Apartment modern and really comfortable . Great location. Tomar is beautiful.
