Accommodation in Valada

Wonderful place to stop on the camino. A little bit of luxury, too, pamper yourself. 😀 Our room had a kitchenette so we could cook ourselves dinner and breakfast.

Clean and comfortable (cozily small!). Great attentive host (thanks Qim-Zé!)

Lovely beach across the road at the river makes a nice place to watch wildlife. Pleasant patio

A real cut above the average apartment rental. Tastefully decorated, well equipped, comfortable. Just a great place.to stay, and the roof.garden with relaxing area and hot tub was the icing on the cake.

Comfortable, clean, well equipped, very friendly, easy to find, accommodating when late, good amenities

It was Cozy, clean, comfortable, calm. Although we could not receive the welcome tour we felt very welcomed; the welcome goodies were really nice, beds were really comfortable, everything worked great ans it was a pity we couldn’t enjoy it more. Also very let friendly

Super clean, really nicely decorated, quiet location.

The Lusitano house is located in a very remote area, which was not an issue for us. However, the property description is completely misleading and unacceptable. The house is advertised as having two bedrooms, one with a double bed and another with four beds. This is entirely false. The so-called second bedroom is actually part of the living room and has no door, only bamboo sticks loosely placed to simulate a separation with 2 single beds. The third single bed is located directly in front of the bathroom, in the entrance/living area, almost at the bottom of the stairs. The fourth “bed” is nothing more than a sofa in the living room combined with the kitchen. The layout is extremely poor and unsuitable, especially for the elderly couple traveling with us. Due to these conditions, I immediately contacted the property manager, explained the situation, and was explicitly told over the phone that the cancellation was accepted. Based on this confirmation, we promptly rented another property and left. Days later, the cancellation was unfairly refused, and we lost the entire rental amount. This is misleading advertising and unprofessional behavior. We strongly do not recommend this property.

This was one unbelievable property. From the moment you entered, you had 1st class treatment. The accommodation is outstanding, comfortable, clean! Highly recommend staying here!

The owners Helga and Diogo were amazing. The space was simple but wonderful. We will definitely return!

Very relaxing place Nice room and set up

The property was very clean and it’s value for money ! Highly recommended.

Everything was great, loved the stay–super peaceful in nature (it feels like you are far away in the ountryside) yet only 5 minutes from the town! I didn't have a car but it was extremely easy to move around thanks to Bolt and Uber. I even booked a Bolt ride at 4 am to go to the airport in Lisbon without any issues. The host was very hospitable and the buildings have been restored very tastefully while keeping the traditional artwork. Great breakfast with orange juice and other fruits from the garden. Very nice stay, will go back again!
