This was more like staying with an old friend than a hotel. On the first day, the host very kindly supplied me with simple breakfast of muesli and kefir even though I was up ridiculously early because of jet lag. On my last day, he baked rolls himself and sat at the table and sliced cheese from a block for me. The room was very comfortable and clean with a fan and light-blocking drapes for the northern summer. I had all the privacy I needed, but could join him in the sitting room for conversation if I wanted to. The bathroom was modern and functional. The location was extremely convenient to the home of relatives I was visiting in rural Oxie. There is a bus stop a short walk away that will take you into the city. He had a well-behaved terrier that enjoyed scritches and pets.
