Everything about this hotel was wonderful. The staff were incredibly kind, warm and genuinely caring. Every interaction made me feel welcome and at home. I especially loved the little afternoon surprises: every day, someone would come to our room with a small sweet treat. It was such a thoughtful touch that made every day feel special. The breakfast was excellent, with a beautiful open-air setting that made every morning relaxing and enjoyable. The beachfront location is stunning, peaceful and perfect for unwinding. More than anything, this hotel made me feel truly cared for. Thank you to the entire team for making my stay so memorable.

We loved the proximity of the pool being right next to the beach. It felt like a very private small hotel, so everything and everyone became very familiar. The staff were absolutely first class and were so helpful and friendly, especially Grace who helped us book some very memorable tours. I visited with my 2 teenage daughters and we had a few massages on the beach, and all of the women were lovely and friendly and even platted my daughters hair after the massage, which was very sweet

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel! Everything was absolutely great from start to finish. Our room was very clean and comfortable, and the staff were incredibly kind, caring, and attentive. Basically everything: the décor, the very friendly staff, the very comfortable room, the delicious breakfast with a sea view, and the location. We loved this hotel. Even though the hotel doesn't have its own pool, the one at the Hotel Beck—just 50 meters away—more than makes up for it! It’s a fantastic pool with wonderful sun loungers and beautiful décor—so zen... The Riveira Hotel is located at the end of the main street. It’s great in terms of noise levels; we had a street-facing room and weren't disturbed at all, plus the bed was excellent, so we slept really well. There’s a fantastic restaurant opposite the hotel called Charm Samui—be sure to book ahead, though, as they are closed on Tuesdays. At Red Moon restaurant, you can ask the owner to put together your dinner—it’s delicious. Good Lights serves the most delicious affogato and ice cream, and Toast offers a really good breakfast/lunch—highly recommended. The night market is great fun on Friday evenings. At the other end of the street—near the Riviera Hotel—there are four very trendy, hip spots that host fire shows every night; it’s lovely to sit on the beanbags on the beach there. Just a heads-up: seaside restaurants charge an extra 10% service charge plus 7% tax on the total amount. We had a delicious meal on the beach at El Gaucho, but those extras added up to 600 THB in total. It is stated on the menu. You can also rent a motorbike opposite the hotel—450 THB for 24 hours—and exploring the island this way is great fun. Coccoon is a stunning viewpoint and an excellent restaurant; it isn't cheap, but it is absolutely worth it. This is where the expats and the Thai "happy few" come.
