For 5 days I felt I was part of a warm Thai family. My stay in this family Guesthouse, run by Rod, Nora and June together, was the highlight of 6 weeks travelling in Thailand. The first night the family took me and some other guests to a great festival near an important temple. Another day Nora and Rod took me out for lunch to eat the best Pad Thai. One morning Nora called me into the kitchen and taught me how to cook Pad Krapao Moo. Other guests even liked my product! Every morning they serve you a different breakfast with local specialties. Apart from that you get a lot of information about Phetchaburi and its specialties (which are many). They offer a free pickup from and drop off at train or van station. Really great service! I also enjoyed using the free bicycle for exploring the countryside. The location of the Guesthouse is central and quiet, close to the river with a good view from the terrace. If you want to have the real, warm, authentic Thai experience, you must come to A+ Hometel and stay with Rod, Nora and June!

Banthai Guesthouse is one of the cosiest hostels I stayed at and so far my favorite in Thailand. It invites to hang out and relax, it's well equipped and clean. The owner / staff are welcoming and it was easy to rent one of their bikes to discover the city. The breakfast was a lovely surprise - I couldn't believe I got some fruits!

Very helpfull people, they lend you a scooter to drive around, or can arrange transport or car renting. The place is cute, near the lake , very peaceful, calm, green, pleasant, the room is new, nice, convenient and clean. Breakfast simple but good.

We really enjoyed our stay in this room! The owner is the best, wonderful, kind and attentive! The room is clean and cozy, you can see how the owner tries to make the guests' stay pleasant!
