Everything, especially our pool in villa and swing in the big pool-kids absolutely enjoyed every moment there, me too! :)

Hekaya is located in a beautiful, peaceful beach location. Compared to other places we stayed in Zanzibar, we liked the vibe on the beach here the most. Just down the beach from the Rock and lots of nice restaurants up and down the beach. The water is clear and blue without sea urchins. The rooms were spacious and clean and the staff were extremely accommodating and friendly. We especially loved being able to take our meals on our sunny, private balcony free of charge. It is a beautiful place with enough privacy and some charming details. The pools were great. The breakfast at the neighbouring restaurant was very nice with a good variety.

This holiday home is an absolut recommendation for visitors to Zanzibar, whether looking for peace or as a starting point for active exploration of the island. The house is located directly on the wonderful Michamvi beach within sight of the Rock Restaurant and just a few kilometers from Jozani National Park. It offers several bedrooms and wonderfully designed lounges with all the necessary equipment. The garden with the pool belonging to the house is beautifully landscaped and also offers numerous opportunities for relaxation - always with an overwhelming sea view. But the best thing was the friendly staff, who gave us a warm welcome and were always there to help and advise us. The included breakfast was rich and tasty and the additional dinner was also great. We would like to thank our friendly hosts for the excellent care.

Quiet place. Not far from rock restaurant. Good rooms .good chef .nice people. But the water was only hard water and needed to be purified well. Side that. Everything was excellent

Great accommodation in a fantastic location near the beach, with a very friendly, courteous and helpful owner. A big thank you again for your wonderful support when my suitcase didn't arrive. The accommodation is a great starting point for activities. Pingwe has a fantastic beach, and even at low tide, you can take a short walk to the sandbank and enjoy a wonderful swim.

This was the most special and beautiful place I stayed in Zanzibar. This is not a standard Hotel or even backpackers usual place. Carol or Bibi Mrembo as the locals call her opens the doors of her house for you and with her kindness and welcoming vibe makes the stay and moments with her to be so special. Loved my time here and the time I spent with her discovering the surroundings, snorkeling and having lunch together. Definitely, my place in Zanzibar. Long life Carol and keep vibing as you do. We were very happy , very good location , calm beach ( no beach boys which can ruined your relax), the appartment was top notch and clean. Also personel was very friendly and helpful. You will also find one of the best food in neighbour restaurant - "Wishing Tree" and perhaps their best octopus served in whole Zanzibar (coocking by Italians). If You looking accommodation in this area I can tell You that You found the right place here.... Special thanks and greetings come to Elena , amazing woman !

The house was so spacious and clean. We were in an ideal location right beside the beach (5 minute walk). We had access to outside space which was lively to sit out in

We were warmly received by Ms Supati, and she and her staff were most kind, friendly and helpful to us. My wife had an injured leg, and she was offered transport by comfortable golf cars across the hotel area when she needed it. The water in the pool seems to be seawater that is replaced every day, which we did not see before in Zanzibar. The food is splendid and varied, and we enjoyed the Swahili dinners! One of a kind even in Zanzibar is that you may snorkel straight from the hotel!

Hotel Club Dongwe has an excellent location. We enjoyed snorkelling there. The staff are very friendly. We had a wonderful time!
