It was a dignified and grand hotel with a historical background, excellently harmonizing with the pristine environment of Alaska. Having traveled to many places around the world, it was one of the most satisfying hotels I've stayed in. It is considered excellent in many aspects for the price.

We took advantage of the hot breskfast buffet . It was free with our room booking but even if not included was very reasonably priced, was fresh and tasted yummy!. The rooms were well stocked with amenities, clean, a working TV, and plenty of plush towels in the tidy, stocked washroom. The front counter staff were pleasant, helpful and were able to answer questions regarding the Anchorage area. While here, there was a service problem with one of the two elevators (out of the 3 of 5 nights we stayed here). Patience was definitely needed during busy times. Overall, enjoyed our stay here and will certainly stay at a Hilton again in the future.

LOVED LOVED LOVED this hotel. We booked here last minute (as in the same day) due to canceled travel due to avalanche, they managed to fit us in and gave us an early check in. The staff are absolutely amazing, everyone we met who worked there had great customer service. The girl who checked us in was amazing and so sweet. We also loved the bar and the staff that worked there were so lovely too. The room was nice and comfortable too

Nice hotel in the city center with beautiful views, spacious room, valet parking and very good breakfast.

Good budget option for Anchorage. Merrill Field Inn is clean, comfortable, safe and friendly. The free shuttle on request to town, the airport or to your vehicle rental was appreciated. The cereal, muffins, toast and coffee buffet breakfast was also appreciated. The adjacent Rice Garden served reasonably priced, OK Chinese food. Wendy's was a 2 block walk and The Lucky Wishbone, an Anchorage chicken restaurant since 1955, is a 15 minutes walk, both safe to do.

Base Camp was the perfect place to start and end my Alaska adventure. From the moment I arrived, it felt less like checking into a hostel and more like being welcomed into a community of fellow travellers. The staff are genuinely fantastic: friendly, knowledgeable and always happy to put travellers at ease from the very beginning. The facilities were super clean, the kitchen was well equipped, and the communal spaces made it easy to meet people or simply unwind after a long day on the trails. Fair warning: this is one of those places that has you looking at flights back to Alaska before you’ve even checked out. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

I was unexpectedly and pleasantly surprised by my stay at Americas Best Value Inn and Suites but it might very well be one of Anchorage's best kept secrets😁 It was actually my best experience of any of the hotels (or motels), I stayed at during my week in Alaska (Anchorage and Palmer). I was given a hugely spacious room (which, was actually a self-catering apartment suite). My experience was peaceful during the time I was there. The hotel provides a simple breakfast and a free shuttle service to the Ted Stevens International airport (which, is only a convenient 10 minute journey from the hotel on Spenard Road). There are a number of additional food services nearby (within walking distance; including, a lovely, cozy little Cafe/bookstore which, I visited on one drizzly afternoon whilst I was there).

After 30hrs of travel it was perfect. Entry was easy and fully explained by owner.
