Exceptional hotel beautifully kept up to date keeping the vintage decoration. But most unique was their support when my daughter got sick. Offering a late check out really helped us manage the situation without worrying about where to stay. Top team🔝

The room was clean, spacious for 1-2 persons. The location was convenient and easy to find. I believe the negative reviews belong to the older rooms that are cheaper. I had booked the renovated room and can guarantee it's worth the money compared to the other - much pricier options in Bar Harbour.

The Hotel is clean enough and for the price is perfect ! Even that it is just for spend the night and continue your trip but if you expect something for stay long I don’t recommend it too much!

Clean and spacious property, lovely quiet location near to the national park. Well stocked and has pretty much everything you would need. Easy to find and check in.

We stayed for 2 nights in another hotel in town. But as that hotel was extremely expensive due to memorial weekend, we switched to the villager motel. We were super happy we did. The room is a good size, the beds comfortable and the location to the restaurants and main attractions in town is unbeatable. The breakfast was good and exceeded our expectations, as there were more choices as we had with hotels during our trip. The receptionist was also friendly and the check in was smooth.

Super friendly owners and the service is just outstanding

This was one of our best stays in the US! I don't know where to start: the building and the room were beautifully decorated and maintained, since this is an old mansion with fantastic architecture! The room was very big and stunning, with a beautiful bathroom and super comfortable beds. The staff also upgraded our room to a better and bigger one, with a balcony and a view of the seaside! Also the location is very central in Bar Harbor, allowing to reach the town on foot. I must also mention the fantastic breakfast we had, cooked on the spot by the kitchen staff and delicious.

We thought of this booking more like an Airbnb, rent a room style. We are not really familar with the Bed & Breakfast concept shown here. But it was a very pleasant surprise. The owner live in the building and renting out two nice rooms in the main Building and one room in a little house in the backyard. They where very nice people with great advices for our trip in Bar Harbor and the two dogs where an added bonus. - Everything is very new and nicely furnished and decorated. - Breakfast is homecooked every morning and was exceptional! - Awesome place to also meet other guests and exchange about the vacation planing
