Incredible hospitality and people (a special thank you to Gale who couldn’t have done more to ensure I had a good stay), stunning accommodation in a breathtakingly beautiful location and to top it off, superb wines and MCCs :) I also loved hiking the trails, which have been so thoughtfully designed to enable you to experience and enjoy the diversity of your surroundings. For the bird lovers, pack binoculars - there is plenty to see. I can wholeheartedly recommend Plaisir!

Highly recommend! We had a fantastic stay in the Manor House. Gale, the accommodation manager, was very welcoming and informative and provided us with a memorable private wine tasting in the gardens - I highly suggest requesting this. The house was beautiful, well stocked and well kept. Plenty of basic amenities and great facilities. If you plan to cater for yourself, the basics are there but I suggest bringing along braai equipment as this was a little limited. The pool is stunning!

Everything was amazing! We received a lovely welcome by our hostess Gale who went above and beyond to make our stay as pleasurable as possible (pun not intended)! Our accommodation was big, clean and we were provided with everything we could have wanted and more. Besides all of this the wines at Plaisir were very nice.

Everything!
The accommodation was beautiful and super clean. The views are spectacular. The pool is like something out of a movie. The estate is immaculate. The farm dogs are fab. The birdlife is fantastic.
We were treated like actual royalty and Plaisir is easily the best place myself and my partner have ever stayed at.
Alex, Gale and Wellington, a huge thanks for making our stay unforgettable.

Firstly, the staff (especially Warren & Constance) who are extremely knowledgeable and super friendly. Secondly, the food is amazing and most importantly all from local produce. The accommodation and facilities are unpretentious and first-class. Loved everything about this stay and wished to have stayed 1-2 days longer.
