My stay at Casa da Mata was incredible. I came as a solo female traveler and had a great time! The hosts were super helpful for arranging my transport, food, and different activities. It was great to learn about the local plants and animals and culture and get immersed in the experience. There are also several nice beaches nearby. Everything was perfect, I can't recommend the visit enough!

We totally enjoyed our stay at the Pousada - the rooms were super spacious, totally clean, decorated with love, in general a very calm and save place with a beautiful garden, an outside eating area and a pool. John and Daisy really made us feel like home there, picked us up from the ferry, prepared delicious, local food for us at our individual preferences and helped us out with everything we needed.
