We had so much fun at Horizon 777. Best hotel in the place. It's taken care by the owner who adds touches of care and love in every corner or the hotel. There's the rosemary bushes in front of each room that give off a slight spa aroma. The view from the room's balcony is insane. In the morning there is handmade fresh croissants and rhubarb muffins. The rhubarb is picked from his extensive gardens. The breakfast also has fruit, juice, yogurt and excellent coffee and handmade cupcakes. I also asked for a fire on a dreary and gray day where the wood was wet. The owner worked hard for 30minutes so I could have a lovely fire. All in all a very clean and homey stay. Would return in a heartbeat.

Very comfortable, functional and practical set up. Liked that the rooms where on two different floors.

Very kind hosts, really good sauna/jacuzzi. You feel and see that the hosts are taking care of the property with a lot of love and considerate of society/environment. Breakfast was included. Would propose to also include a muesli/porridge option to the available breakfast options (current options: different egg breakfasts, French toast, bagel and crepe for kids).

Offering a garden and garden view, Maison Carofanne is situated in Saint-Siméon, 37 km from Charlevoix Museum and 28 km from Village des Lilas. Lovely property with private parking space. All facilities included with plenty of room. Close to the ferry terminal. The owner was lovely and gracious. Enquired about our comfort when we arrived, after the first night and upon departure. Highly recommended.

Set in Baie-Sainte-Catherine, Les chalets de la colline inc provides accommodation with air conditioning and access to a garden. Location was good. We had expected it to be on the other side of the river, but taking the ferry was not much of an inconvenience as we never had to wait very long and the ferry crossed quickly.

Situated in Saint Aime Des Lacs, 15 km from Parc National des Hautes-Gorges-de-la-Rivière-Malbaie, Le Relais des Hautes Gorges features accommodation with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, free... A fabulous place to stay. The hosts Kevin and Frank were just great - helpful, accomodating, and good company. It's the sort of place where you end up on first name terms with most of the other people staying there! We had one of the 'motel' rooms - recently rennovated, really well done. Breakfast was included and was excellent - continental buffet style, lots of local produce. And you're only a 15 min drive away from the entrance to the national park - which is just stunning.

Chantal and Sylvain were great hosts and helped us with exploring town. Location is just at the other side of the river and had a beautiful view.

Offering a shared lounge and sea view, Gîte Au Perchoir is set in Baie-Saint-Paul, 3.6 km from Art Centre Baie-St-Paul and 3.6 km from Contemporary Museum of Arts. When being a host as well, you tend to look at accommodations with a more critical eye. The only problem that I can say I didn't have the opportunity to stay more than 1 night. I will definitely plan a return stay and the next time stay longer. When giving feed back on this accommodation the charts just don't go high enough. Definitely off the charts. The morning breakfast was better than any 5 start hotel I have stayed. Unfortunetly there is no way to judge the view because the view is one to be cherished. I don't know when I will return, I just know it can't be soon enough.
