However, this hotel reimbursed us for the missed night without being asked. We were super grateful for this and wish we could have experienced more of the super facilities.

The “Contemporary” rooms are modernly furnished while respecting the heritage character of the place. These rooms have a private bathroom. This was such a fortunate find for our first trip to Quebec City! The location was perfect - a 5 minute walk from the central shopping/restaurant area, and it had a small parking lot onsite. The hotel was pristine. Walking to our room felt like walking through history.

We traveled each day via the subway which was an easy 5-10 minute walk to the station at the university. Staff were very friendly and spoke fluent English. Breakfast was a small selection but very fresh and sufficient.
