Offering a bar and river view, 0517 Boutique Hotel is set in Huangshan Scenic Area, 2.4 km from Heavenly Capital Peak and 3.8 km from Nine Dragons Waterfall. Both the hotel and staff were fantastic. I rented a room here last minute when I decided it would be best to spend one night in Tangkou after hiking Huangshan rather than trekking all the way back to my lodgings in Huangshan City (60 km away). This boutique hotel is a gem--beautifully designed and extremely comfortable. The staff offered to pick me up from the bus stop after a long day of hiking in torrential rain (they had provided their WeChat number, and replied almost immediately), and also arranged for my transportation back to Huangshan City the following day (the price for this latter was just a bit higher than the intercity bus I took on the way there, and was much more comfortable). They also recommended the best hiking route for my second day on Huangshan (which turned out to be spectacular). The hotel exceeded all of my expectations and I would certain stay there again! It's in a wonderful spot (surrounded by mountains right along the river, a short walk away from one of the scenic area entry points). Mimi, the resident kitty cat, was also adorable.

Breakfast, there are not various choices. They have will 2 options to choose between Veg fried rice and wonton, fruit, Chinese dessert, tea, coffee, and milk. The staff and the owner are very nice and helpful.

Huang Mountain Wangfeng Hotel has a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Huangshan Scenic Area. Attractively situated in the Tangkou Town district, this hotel offers a bar. The rooms were so cozy, right in the middle of town and had a fantastic view. The owners were so helpful and arranged for transportation whenever we needed. They helped us navigate how to arrange and get to mountain walks also. We really loved staying there!

Surrounded by mountains, Cheng Jin Hotel is located next to Huangshan Mountain Scenic Area Tourist Transfer Centre. Tastefully decorated, it houses a restaurant and accommodation with free WiFi... Location is right by the entrance to Huangshan scenic area. Staff were very helpful in organizing our transport and introducing the best way to enjoy huangshan. Good restaurant within the hotel.
