Room and toilet are clean, tidy and spacious. The bed is comfortable. It is a Tibet-styled hostel. The hostel is located near to the square and just need 5-10 minute walk. 20-30 minute walk to the palace. Wifi is good. Staff are very nice and she gave me cheaper price for the room.

Stunning views from the rooftop that u can see Potala for all day and night.

El Shangri-La Hotel està situat a 700 m del palau de Norbulingka i el Museu Tibetà (Lhasa). The room i was given was comfortable and well appointed. I can see the Potala Palace in the distance. Appreciate the daily fruits, water and 2 portable oxygen canisters provided daily. The humidifier and oxygen machine was very much appreciated. Staff are friendly, and tries their best to help/understand what is asked of them - one even had used a “translator” to be able to communicate in english. Efforts appreciated. Noted that a lot of the staff are fluent enough.
