Boasting a garden, Refugio del Jaguar is situated in Medellín in the Antioquia region, 100 metres from El Poblado Park and 600 metres from Lleras Park. Absolutely amazing hotel that's more like a boutique guesthouse. All the staff know you by name and they are so friendly. The rooms are spotless and the rest of the hotel is super clean as well. As soon as you check in they send you a load of recommendations by WhatsApp and we booked a day tour to Guatape through the hotel which was great. It was also half the price of Viator so if you are thinking of booking a tour get in touch with the hotel first! Beds are very comfy and the only slight issue I had was that the pillows are very thin and there's only 2 on the bed. If there's any improvement that could be made it's to put extra pillows on the bed. They did give us 2 extra when we asked though so it was no issue. Rooms are also windowless which we knew about and the hotel is very forthcoming with that information but due to the fan on the wall and open shared space this wasn't really an issue as we only slept in the room.

Very peaceful with unbelievable views. The staff were very friendly, the food was great, and it was a lovely place to reconnect with nature. Loved that they bring wood to your room for a bonfire in the evening, and going out to kayak in the lakes.

Viajero Medellín Hostel features a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Medellín. Conveniently situated in the El Poblado district, this hotel offers a bar, as well as a hot tub. Overall, it's a good place to stay. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, due to flight delays, I only stayed for a couple of hours, barely enough time to rest, but for such a short time, the experience was very pleasant, even with the people I shared a room with. They also have tons of daily activities and are always happy to help you with anything you need; they even helped me by storing my luggage when I was returning to Bogota from Nuquí. By the way, rooms are comfortable enough to rest. For me, it was more than good.
