The location is ideal for visiting Poas volcano, and La Paz waterfall and gardens. Poasito is a nice little town with some shops. The restaurant Siempre is very good, serving excellent food (lomito, casada) for good price. The owner of the hotel has been extremely helpful: we had a flat tire on the Poas volcano parking lot, in pouring rain, so we needed help to get the tire fixed and our clothes dried. He immediately helped us with that, such that we didn't lose too much time and could be comfortable. Since the weather was poor, the heaters in the room were very helpful. The rooms and beds were comfy enough. Breakfast was certainly good. The bunnies in the garden add a pleasant touch.

Casa Marigold offers a hot tub, as well as air-conditioned accommodation in Coyol. Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property.
