First impression of the accomodation is not one of coziness because it is somewhat dark inside. However it certainly has all the basic needs, was clean and with good working airco. We were in contact with Brandon as a represensative of the owner and as a local guide, and he has been very helpful from the moment we arrived in Pavona and troughout our entire stay. Arranging the transfer, welcoming us at the dock of Tortuguero accompanying us to the accomodation and offering a variety of excursions.

The property is beautiful. Very clean accommodations with AC.

The accommodations were excellent. Tom patiently answered any questions I had. I also highly recommend the bakery downstairs. My family and I enjoyed the savory pastries and coffee.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Finca Chica lodge. This was by far the best stay of our holidays. The lodge is very clean and well equipped. Our lodge had its own little garden with hammocks from which we could enjoy the wildlife like the agouti's and hummingbirds. The host was extremely helpful, and the gardener showed us animals like sloths and lizards on the property. Waking up with the sounds of the birds and the howler monkeys was an amazing experience. We will definitely come back in the future!

Fantastic hosts and very welcoming. The best way to start a holiday in CR. Why stay at a hotel that’s so clinical when you can be amongst nature and lovely local people. Everything you need is here and the breakfast was 10/10. Thank you George and family !

First of all. If you are lucky enough to book this property, Andrew and his lovely wife could be the best hosts you could possibly ask for. The location is slightly off track, but once you become familiar with the town you’ll realise it offers cut above the rest in almost everything (aircon is a great bonus). If you are looking at this review and the accommodation is available, you would regret not booking for as long as your stay here is in Puerto Viejo. Thank you for your welcoming hospitality.

Ultimate vacation hotel. The village is a bit off the general tourism, what’s fantastic to chill. No matter if boss, waitress, cleaning - everyone smiles and is focused on the guests wellbeing. Great food, relaxing massage, comfy and spacious accommodation. Short walk to several beaches or into the village, with shops, restaurants, ice cream…
