I really loved this place. You feel so comfortable, just like home. All the hostel is beautiful, well agenced, well equiped. The rooms are good, pretty quiet ; I slept really well. Also the staff is really sympathic, just as the others customers. If I could, I would have stayed longer. I completely recommand this hostel !!

A beautiful oasis lodge in Puerto Viejo. It served as the perfect base for our few days here - walking distance to Playa Negra and a short tuk tuk/taxi to the centre. The room was so spacious, clean and comfortable. Luis was so friendly and even helped us spot the two slots in the tree right above the lodge!

We loved staying in Smile Jungle Hostel, from the first minute to the last. Gonzalo is an amazing host and this was our favourite accommodation in Central America. You feel right at home because everything you could possibly need is available and Gonzalo is always so warm and positive. This is a 5 star boutique experience in a lush tropical setting. Our room was beautiful ❤️ The bed and pillows so comfortable and I have a bad back. Everything you need for cooking and the best espresso machine! The breakfast was exceptional and we didn't eat till dinner time again. You are only a few minutes to the most beautiful and quiet stretch of beach with your own lounge chairs. There are a few surfers and locals and tourists around. You can walk to Manzanillo and the park . The pool is very nice and refreshing. They have an ice machine and drinkable water available all the time!!! I can't say enough about this hidden gem & hope to return one day. The icing on the cake is Sabestian the manager & keeper whom is so kind and always willing to help💕

Kim is an amazing host! The room is comfortable and the pool really nice, everything is working perfectly fine. The whole place is made with lots of care. She cooked an amazing different breakfast every morning and we had some nice conversations. Thank you! I definitively recommend!
