I had a lovely stay at Hotel Casa 69! The staff were all kind and always greeted with a smile, which made the atmosphere feel warm and welcoming. Special thanks to Justin for being especially helpful and friendly during my stay, and also to Winston and the rest of the team, you’re all amazing! I also really enjoyed the breakfast each morning, it was a great way to start the day and I loved experiencing a typical Costa Rican breakfast 😊 Thank you for the great hospitality. Casa Pandora Hostel Women Only is situated in San José, within 7.5 km of Estadio Nacional de Costa Rica and 10 km of Parque Diversiones. I highly recommend this hostel! I stayed here three different times for a night, and every time it felt so welcoming – just like home. Everything is very clean, the beds are comfortable, the showers are hot, and there’s even a TV with Disney+/Netflix/Prime… just perfect! The place is designed with so many thoughtful details: a fully equipped kitchen, hair dryers, shower products, extra blankets if needed… you really feel that everything has been thought of for the guests’ comfort. The staff has been incredibly kind and helpful – they even let me leave some of my belongings a couple of times, always with such friendliness and quick responses. The automated check-in system makes everything super easy as well. For me, it’s the perfect place to stay for a night or two before exploring the rest of Costa Rica. A huge thank you to the whole team 🌸

Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a private pool, Apartments Nauyaca is set in Platanillo. The 4-star aparthotel is 18 km from Alturas Wildlife Sanctuary. All was Perfect. Breakfast, cozy appartment even with 2 kids Was large. The swimming area was so lovely a comfy, relaxing. Cant reccomend more to for stay around Dominicali and Waterfalls🙏🏽✔️

Featuring a spa bath, Villas Páramo Cloud Forest Hotel is located in División. This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi. Very clean. Great hiking trails for those of us that wanted to go. Jacuzzi bath for those that didn't. Comfortable bed and couch. We had all we needed for cookware to cook for a group of 10. We didn't realize we couldn't use a credit card up there but Gravin came to the rescue and so we were able to get the food we needed at the little store there. Gravin was so accommodating and a great host! We can't wait to come back.

Located in Copey, Curuba Lodge offers accommodation with a terrace or a balcony, free WiFi and flat-screen TV, as well as a garden and a restaurant. The staff was extremely welcoming and helpful. They filled hummingbird feeders at our cabin and elsewhere around the property and we enjoyed watching all the hummingbird activity throughout the day. Breakfast was delicious.

Las Bromelias Lodge has garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in Paso Macho, 28 km from Cerro de la Muerte. Beautiful location, plenty of space to sleep, relax, have meals plus great views. Very helpful staff that visited the house while we were away and prepared fireplace for us after we used wood the day before. Perfect location to explore Savegre forest and this area. In the cottage we found a contact to very good, profesional birdwatching guide.
