100 metres from Praia António Sousa, Branco Sea Holiday Apartments is situated in Santa Maria and features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. Really friendly and lovely hosts that went out of their way to help us by dropping us off at the apartment from the check in office and letting us check in early. We had apartment no 41, it was absolutely wonderful and we enjoyed morning coffee on the balcony overlooking the city and the sea.

The staff is really guest-oriented. Always available and ready for a solution. They even let me shower after the check out time which made me enjoy my last day in peace.

Featuring inner courtyard views, Nifa House offers accommodation with patio, around 7.1 km from Pedra Lume Salt Crater. For me the location was great: outside of center Espargos means no noises at all, super quiet and relaxing neighbourhood. Minimarket was 5 min walking away, nice and cheap restaurant 3 min. I even walked to the airport which was around 40min. The bus station for the collectivos to Santa Maria (scooter rental) is 20min walking. The room and the house is superclean, modern, and the owner is really friendly, and nearly always available via booking or WhatsApp. He speaks Portugese, Englisch, spanish and french... He has mountain bikes for rent (just 7km to the Salinas), and in the near future also scooter. The room is big with a big bed and a comfy matrace. There is a table and chairs. Also there are enough plugs to charge your stuff. The bathroom looks / is new and has a shower with hot water. The WiFi works great. I loved staying here! Definitely recommend this place!

Located within 500 metres of Praia de Santa Maria and 400 metres of Nazarene Church, Ca GIOgió provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Santa Maria. Off the beaten Path a quiet part of Santa Maria. A calm area away from the crowds yet only a few minutes walk to the busy waterfront strip. We loved our stay at Ca GIOgio Apartment it’s a very spacious well planned fully equipped apartment, we really had all the equipment needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was so comfortable, the black out curtains helped keep the apartment cool we didn’t need to use the air conditioner but it was there if we needed it. The shower was large and the water pressure was great. Kitchen was a joy to use along with the clothes washing machine. Nice sitting room had good light with lots of windows. The entry and hallways of the entire building is well maintained and a pleasure to use. In the surrounding area are grocery shops, city markets , local restaurants and across the street a hospital. Amazing white sandy beach with delicious seafood restaurants, bars of all price points reachable by foot 5 minutes. Our highlight was visiting the Pier to watch the fishing boats bring in their catch along with local artists selling a variety of interesting crafts. The Island has a nice local culture and it was really special to mingle with the local friendly Cabo Verdians and support their businesses. Thank you for your hospitality.

Situated in Espargos and only 3.3 km from Monte Curral, LAFAYETTE Alojamentos features accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. Very friendly people, very clean, the breakfast was gorgeous the dinner also very good. The host can bring you to the airport and other place for small amounts of money.

Situated a few steps from Praia de Santa Maria, 100 metres from Parish of Our Lady of Sorrows and 300 metres from Nazarene Church, Mister Barracuda offers accommodation set in Santa Maria. Wonderful stay! The appartement was magnificent, with an amazing view. Everything was perfect. A special thanks to Susana, who was absolutely exceptional and made our stay unforgettable. Highly recommended!

Vany, Thanks 🙏 for making my stay excellent! Thanks 👍 for arranging an excellent taxi both ways from the Sal Island airport. Everything is nice: Location, comfortable, bed, well equipped kitchen, hot and cold shower. Well maintained. Near everything you might need: beach, mini markets, bakery, restaurants.

Boasting a terrace, bar and views of city, Ocean Suites is situated in Santa Maria, 100 metres from Praia de Santa Maria. Hotel: Ocean Suites is much more than a hotel. The service and attention that you as a customer receive every day is great🤩. I stayed in room 2 (for me one of the nicest room)😌. The room was large, with good working air conditioning and a beautiful view of the popular square and main street.The servers were friendly one by one and want to do everything for you "NO STRESS". And every evening there is live music downstairs in the restaurant with good music. You dance💃🏾 until you can't feel your feet anymore (haha). For your safety, a security guard is present every night and after an evening out he will bring you safely to the entrance so that you can safely return to your room. Breakfast ,lunch and diner: Every morning I could choose between 3 different breakfast menus (American🥓, Cape Verde🫘 and Mediterranean🍅). All three were tasty and you get a lot! You can also enjoy a delicious meal there (lunch and dinner). Try their burger🍔 (one of the tastiest burgers in Cabo Verde!)🤌🏽.  The beach and the famous pier are a 3-minute walk from the hotel! All famous cafes and restaurants are a 5 or 6 minute walk from the hotel. If you want to save money, book all activities through Dorry, which will save you 10 to 20 euros per excursion. And you can also arrange your transport to and from the airport through Dorry. Ocean Suites is for me the best hotel in Santa Maria! Adilson makes the best coffee☕️ for you in the morning. Janete serves you with her beautiful smile in the evening 😍(She has the most beautiful curls I had ever seen) And Flavio teaches you the coolest dance moves every evening💃🏾.
