This family-run guest house is quietly situated in Stadt Wehlen in the heart of the Saxon Switzerland National Park, directly below the world-famous Bastei rock formation. It offers free WiFi. Beautiful location. Clean room. Very lovely breakfast with homemade specialty jams etc. that even included vegan options (when requested). Staff was very kind and helpful. Contactless check-in when you come outside of check-in hours. A perfect place to rest up and enjoy nature. Parking was available and pets were allowed. Even though we didn't bring any we love meeting others' pets on holidays.

Owners allowed us to drop our bags early and we could wait in the lobby until the room was ready. After an overnight sleeper train this was very much appreciated. The property is very new, clean a tastefully furnished. Our room (very spacious) came with fully equipped kitchen, which was especially handy as we like to cook during vacations.
