I incidentally arrived early and that was no problem. They got me checked in and I was able to order a meal on arrival which was excellent. Staff speaks both Spanish and English. Room was comfortable and pleasant. The site is peaceful. Wifi worked great. TV worked great. They were able to shuttle me to the airport late in the night.

The breakfast is modest but still good. They are obsessive about cleaning, so the place is always perfectly spotless. It's very excellently priced, and they have a nice, large outdoor, ground-level terrace in the front with excellent rain covering even during the hardest storms. I work remotely, so I really look forward to a dedicated working area, which they have! They have a little office area in the back of the hostel with a desk, a nice background, and good lighting (for those of us that need to be on video calls).
