Ms. Christine, the guest relations manager was amazing. She was nice and so respectful to my older parents and helped me deal with an issue with high priority. She made each guest feel special. I will continue to stay at this property because of her.

Located within 22 km of Aga Khan Mausoleum and less than 1 km of Nubian Museum, JJ Guesthouse provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Aswan. The guesthouse was very welcoming and immediately helped us bring our bags from the ferry. When we asked to change dates, they made it easy, and then when we wanted to change room it was also easy. The roof-top was a great asset with a clear view across the Nile full of faluccas and other boats. It was quiet and we slept well in excellent beds. the windows, and small balcony were great. The bathroom was adequate and clean. JJ helped us get an excellent driver, Mustapha, who spoke good english and was very attentive. Both JJ and his wife spoke good english. At first we were asking ourselves some questions about staying on an island which is still quite underdeveloped, but then we got to realize we were having an authentic experience of an African Nubian village and the village life all around. We loved the weaving shop and the spice shop near the ferryboat and made them our base. The ferryboat went every few minutes and cost almost nothing. We found good restaurants also, even one with beer and wine.

Nala Narty Nubian House & Organic Farm has a garden, private beach area, a terrace and restaurant in Aswan. This place was an absolute gem! Located on a serene island, you’re surrounded by lush greenery and breathtaking views of the river. We stayed in a river view room, with a farm right in front of our window. Waking up to the view in the morning was truly a gift. The rooms are a beautiful homage to local Nubian heritage, with charming architectural and design touches that make you feel like you're staying in a traditional Nubian home. Yet, you also have all the comforts of a clean, well maintained air-conditioned room, which was such a perfect balance. The owner goes above and beyond to ensure that guests experience the local culture in an authentic way. It’s perfect for travelers who want to embrace the slow life and connect with the area’s heritage. He was incredibly helpful, attentive, and genuinely caring throughout our stay. Even before we arrived, he kept in touch and responded promptly to any questions we had about our booking or itinerary. He even provided us with an incredibly detailed and helpful list of dos and don’ts, along with travel suggestions for Luxor, Cairo, and Aswan! There are many activities and day trips to historical sights provided by the hotel as well, and we always felt like we were in good hands here. As a passionate traveler himself, you can tell he truly cares about giving his guests an unforgettable, authentic experience. One of the highlights of our stay was taking a refreshing dip in the Nile. It was incredibly relaxing, after a busy week full of walking around and traveling. Our favorite part of the stay was meeting the warm and welcoming locals. The owner took us to a local village on another island, where we had the chance to see traditional Nubian houses. The local kids were playing and running around outside, and it was a truly heartwarming experience to interact with them. They also have an adorable dog, Zazu, who will greet you with endless love and affection the moment you arrive! We already miss him so much!!

Situated within 23 km of Aga Khan Mausoleum and 700 metres of Nubian Museum, Nubian Soul Guest Houses features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Aswan. Everything was great. The people working in the hotel were really kind and friendly and helped me with everything. They helped me get a trip to Abu Simbel and even packaged me a breakfast for it, because the trip started so early. The room was very quiet, peaceful and clean.

They helped us with everything from Flueca rides, money exchange, and routes. This is from now on my goto for whenever i come to Aswan.

The rooftop is nice. The rooms are simple but functional. The hotel manager was very helpful and responsive. We really enjoyed the boat trip to the venue provided by the hotel.

I can only reconfirm what previous guests have written before : I was welcomed by a wonderful, kind and helpful host. The hotel is new, therefore the facilities are in very good quality. Everything is clean. I really felt comfortable and well looked after. Highly recommend to stay here.
