After a long travel around Egypt, I was looking for some peace and quiet but at the same time have the opportunity to explore my final destination, Aswan. Nala Narty was the PERFECT option. Calm, clean, aesthetic, organic food, hippie chic vibe in an island of Aswan near the Nubian village! What else would you ask for? Ah YES! Sherif's dogs, absolutely adorable! He arranged our pick up from the airport and boat to the guest house. He arranged our felucca sunset sail. We loved our stay on Eliphintine island, it was very quiet and very easy to cross with the local ferry.

Featuring a terrace, Dolty Kato Nubian House By Kato Dool is set in Aswan in the Dhofar region, 18 km from Aga Khan Mausoleum and 11 km from Nubian Museum. This was probably the best hotel on our trip! The staff were really helpful and kind, the rooms were so beautifully decorated and the location on the banks of the river was just out of this world. Most astonishingly, the hotel manager couriered our iPad to us from Aswan all the way to Alexandria free of charge after we left it in the room upon check-out. Really a delightful stay and we will certainly return to this gem!
