It is run by a lovely Italian family and their warm and sunny personality makes you feel like at home. A very clean dormitory and showers, but the most exciting was their food. I was looking forward to their meal sooooo much after spending several days walking the camino and eating watery soups and tortilla…And yes, that dinner was absolutely delicious, very generous servings and made the same way as you can get the meal in Italy homecooked by mamma italiana❤️We ate pasta with pesto and cheese, meat balls with peas and mixed salad and full fat greek yogurt with strawberry sauce and nuts for dessert. Yummy😋I was so full I didn ´t eat anything the following day and walked 38km👍Do yourself a favor, stay there overnight (forget sleeping in Sahagun), eat their delish meal and have fun👏🌞

Great location, just on the Camino de Santiago way. The man on the reception was very friendly and helpful. Thank you for the comfortable stay!

Hotel Pico Espiguete ligger i Alba de los Cardaños, med Fuentes Carrionas og Fuente Cobre naturreservat bare 50 kilometer unna. Despite the fact that it was very warm when we were there and there’s no air-conditioning, we were perfectly cool in our room and the host and hostess were fantastic. The meals were exceptional great value for money and an absolutely beautiful location.
