A fantastic place to stay, in my opinion - my room was large and offered everything needed. It was not the bland usual hotel thing but rather it was nicely decorated for a distinct experience. The location right on the lake is wonderful, with views across the water to the north, and a deck for sitting outside if one wants to, during meals or just for pleasure. Overall, this hotel gives the impression that the owners care and want guests to be comfortable, and it is still small enough to not be the usual bland thing of a large hotel, while offering all one could wish for. Downtown is within walking distance.

Location is convenient to reach Ruka ski resort, Rovaniemi, Ranua zoo, Riisitunturi National park. We enjoyed hot sauna and cooling down in snow outside. The best thing was that we saw nothern lights directly from apartments terrace. Amazing!
