RockyPop Grenoble Appartements ligger i Grenoble, 19 minutters gange fra Grenoble sentralstasjon og 1,9 kilometer fra WTC Grenoble. We booked Rocky Pop at very short notice when we lost the electricity supply to our holiday rental appartment shortly after arriving and had to find alternative accommodation quickly for the rest of our stay We couldn't have made a better choice and our rate was excellent value. The staff were very welcoming and helpful, stored our luggage from early morning and allowed us to check in hours ahead of the official time. Our fourth floor studio apartment was spacious and elegantly decorated in dark blue and neutral tones with colour accents, and included a huge comfortable bed, a well-equipped kitchen, a good-size oval dining table and chairs, a large smart TV, and a separate toilet and bathroom with a full-sized bath and a very effective over-bath shower. We had tons of storage space, daily housekeeping and everything was in excellent repair and spotlessly clean. While the hotel was busy and seemed popular with young families, our room was very quiet and we slept very well. We ate in the hotel's casual (and popular) diner-style restaurant on one evening and the menu was varied and tasty. The reception area had unlimited free tea/coffee and still/sparkling water available for guests. Check in and out was very easy, and all of the staff we encountered were unfailingly friendly and helpful. The hotel has a youthful, fun vibe but we didn't feel at all out of place as older guests. The location is very central in an attractive area within easy walking distance from all of the sights, with a tram stop just two minutes' walk away (four stops to the railway/bus station). There's a couple of supermarkets just across the road, a fruit and vegetable shop virtually next door, with a cheese shop, bakery, wine shops, cafes, restaurants, etc just along the street. Highly recommended!
