The property is a beautifully presented country lodge, with wonderful rich furnishings and decor reflecting its history as a grand hunting lodge, but modern and fresh at the same time. There are a number of rooms to relax in, each with its own theme and sumptuous decor and a very cool bar area with a fine selection of whiskies. And there was a beautiful kitchen with honesty bar and complimentary tea/coffee. The bedroom was spacious and elegant and thanks to the extensive grounds around the property, was free from external noise and peaceful to sleep in. The manager (Donald?) and staff were very warm and welcoming and super helpful throughout our stay. We were unsure what to expect and were very much surprised to the upside!

Exceptional, affordable, very cosy wigwam with a comfy double bed and clean and functioning kitchenette and bathroom, right up the village. Best night of our 15 days trip around Scotland ! Delicious local restaurant "Clockhouse" 5min down the street. Definitely try it out ! It was lovely !!
