Situated in Malpas, 26 km from Chester Racecourse, The Lion at Malpas features accommodation with a terrace, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. Excellent staff, couldn’t be more helpful if they tried and really spoilt our puppy who came along for the journey too. Absolutely stunning place already looking to come back in the new year. Moved us to a different table when asked due to our puppy being reactive to other dogs in the restaurant.

Centrally located in the heart of Chester and within the historic city walls, The Townhouse Hotel is a Georgian period house built in 1699. Fantastic location and nice rooms. The staff was super welcoming to our dogs and us. We had a great vegan breakfast in the lobby in the company of our dogs. We would love to visit. Chester again. Great city, fabulous hotel 😁
