Situated in Malpas, 26 km from Chester Racecourse, The Lion at Malpas features accommodation with a terrace, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. Beautiful place. Definitely going back as did not have tea there as had other plans in the evening. Had breakfast in the main bit and it was delicious. Really liked the staff, they were very accommodating and approachable

Hotel in good location, handy to both Railway Station and historic centre of city. Staff were helpful in responding to questions. We would stay again if we were coming to Chester again.
