Excellent guest house with a fairly spacious, well appointed room, a very comfortable bed and a large bathroom and great shower. Leanne was a very gracious host who provided for all our needs and prepared a great breakfast to order.

The White House - Off-Site Health Club & Spa 2 minute walk away ligger i Bowness-on-Windermere, bare 39 kilometer fra Derwentwater og 42 kilometer fra Askham Hall. Beautiful property inside and out, had everything you need for a stay over and right in the middle of Bowness. Best night sleep I’ve had in a very long time.

Red Dragon Inn ligger i Kirkby Lonsdale, med Trough of Bowland bare 28 kilometer unna. Overnattingsstedet har en restaurant, røykfrie rom, gratis WiFi og en bar. Very cozy and charming place! It was our stopover between England and Scotland, and it didn't disappoint. Set in a quaint little town, this inn is right in the heart of it all. The rooms were perfectly cozy and comfortable, the staff incredibly welcoming, and the breakfast was generous and delicious. Highly recommended!

Situated in Grasmere, 12 km from Windermere, Victorian House features parking is limited and offered on a first come and first served basis. The rooms come with a flat-screen TV. Helt fantastisk sted med så nydelig personale💃💃💃💃🕺🕺💖Vi fikk et flott rom i 1 etasje og frokosten var hærlig 👍deilig stooor seng,koslig hus og det var små kaker i foajeen på kvelden 😋vi kunne også hatt med hunden vår,men hun var hjemme🐾Elsket det stedet,virkelig å anbefale 😘

The extensively-refurbished Bridge House Hotel is set in Grasmere, directly across from St Oswalds Church and the graveyard where William Wordsworth rests. Bortsett fra rommet var alt veldig bra

In beautiful Lakeland surroundings overlooking an idyllic brook, Glencree is situated between the villages of Bowness and Windermere. Everything was excellent , the setting and proximity to the town. The room and bathroom were spacious, well decorated and clean. Breakfast was first class. A very enjoyable experience and will stay again next year when in the area

Your perfect lakes escape begins here, at our family-run hotel situated in the bustling village of Braithwaite. The property is outside Keswick, but in a way, that makes it all the better--quieter. The outside patio offers a nice view and it's fun to enjoy a drink there and relax. The triple room we had offered a patio (albeit on the driveway). Dinner (we didn't eat there) smelled delicious, and breakfast was plentiful, though I would have liked less watered down coffee. As a larger facility, you don't have to order breakfast the night before.

Set in the village of Bowness, Latimer House Guest House offers 4-star accommodation with views of its surrounding gardens and of the village. The room was stunning, I couldn’t have asked for anything better and I had the best night sleep. The guest house is very safe and secure, which made me feel 10x more comfortable on my first solo trip. Barely a 5 minute walk down to the lakeside, with plenty bars and food places to choose from nearby

The family-run Ambleside Townhouse is situated in Ambleside, 800 metres from Lake Windermere. It offers en suite rooms and a full English breakfast in the morning. Lovely big room. Very convenient parking. Extremely nice staff. Excellent breakfast.
