Strongly recommend to sleep on the island in autumn. The views are amazing. Go to the top of the rock and wander around. Hike the Monemvasia loop to the lighthouse and around the island (not for kids).

Built of stone, Bastione Malvasia Hotel is situated in the medieval castle of Monemvasia, just 300 metres from the gate. The location was perfect. A lovely terrace overlooking the sea. Quiet rooms. The buffet style breakfast was exceptional with a wide variety of quality food to choose from.

Set amidst lush greenery, at an altitude of 600 metres, the traditionally built Guesthouse Mazaraki is situated close to the picturesque village of Mystras, offering views of the Byzantine castle of... I could easily say this was the most gorgeous property I’ve ever stayed in. The rooms are large and comfortable, the little kitchen is great and has everything you’ll need if you fancy cooking a small meal indoors. The staff are the most friendly and do their utmost to give you the best experience. The breakfast was delicious and you get to enjoy it in your own room. Lucky for us the weather was lovely so we are it in our little balcony overlooking the stunning view.

Yerma is a collection of rooms and apartments just a 5-minute walk from the heart of Limeni, a village we have cherished for years. Unfortunately, the center is often very crowded with many tourists, and even the hotels don't prioritize tranquility. Yerma is the complete opposite! It offers a stunning view of the bay and the sunset (you won’t forget them), with the comfort of a brand-new establishment. I must highlight the most incredible aspect in my opinion: the design of the building and the rooms. I'll let you see for yourself, but the rooms are of rare beauty, as are the balconies and décor. We’re sure to return next year, and perhaps even before the end of summer! Special mention to the service—everyone on-site was lovely and the team was very warm.

My wife and I absolutely loved this little rental! Everything was new, clean and beautiful! What really put the cherry on top was the breakfast with Katerina and Petros. This couple was so kind to us! Katerina made us the most wonderful breakfast! Our only regret is not being more fluent Greek speakers. We would have loved to get to know them better.
