We ordered 2 rooms (as there was no room to accomodate all 6 of us - 2 adults + 4 children) and the staff went over their head to find us 2 adajcent rooms and provided all of our needs. They did it in such a pleasant way and made our stay enjoyable. The rooms were clean and well accessorized and the overall stay was excellent.

Great location. The apartment was big and had steps up to the castle wall in back where you could see over the whole city. The staff was super helpful and friendly with good English skills. Amazing value and included a nice breakfast. And they stored our luggage while we wondered around the town.

Located among the hills and on the shore of Lake Hámori in Lillafüred, Hotel Palota Lillafured is set in a neo-renaissance castle built in 1930. The room was super clean and cozy, the staff in the reception really helpful and friendly. The building was beautiful and the surrounding nature gave us many opportunities to hike and explore. The food during dinner and breakfast had a vast range of choices and was carefully made and tasty.
