This 3-star hotel is set 250 metres away from the beach at Lake Balaton. Each room has a balcony, overlooking Hotel Kentaur’s private park. Wi-Fi is free in public areas. Everything! The property is a well maintained old setup with a lavish lawn and in a quiet neighborhood with good restaurants nearby and the lake within walking distance. The lady at the front desk is such a grace whenever you see her (thank you and sorry for not remembering your name). The rooms were very spacious, with a balcony and the beds are quite comfortable.

Everything was sparkling clean – felt like they washed the place twice just to be sure 😄. Breakfast had plenty of choices, and yes, you can even enjoy it in bed thanks to room delivery. The pool was open and the water was warm, which felt like a small miracle in mid-September. Hotel sits right on the bike path around Lake Balaton – super handy if you’re pedaling around. Siófok center is just 10 minutes away on foot, or 3 minutes if you let your bike do the work 🚴.
