The restaurant: The restaurant is stunning with an inviting porch that reveals the ocean and the lush landscape. The food is delightful with a mix of Indonesian and Western options. I am gluten free with a sensitive stomach. The restaurant always accommodates my dietary restrictions, and I always feel good after I eat there! If you will be staying awhile, you can even bring your own gluten free flour, and they will prepare something special for you. I love the ayam tangkap (an Acehnese specialty that you can't find many places on the island) and tom yum. The rooms: Every bungalow is done in the traditional Acehnese style with wooden carved decorations. My bungalow had a porch with a hammock which was the perfect place to relax while watching the ocean and listening to the sounds of nature. The bed was comfortable. The shower had hot water and it was easy to control the temperature, which cannot be said of many showers on the island. There was also a fridge and water dispenser in the room including hot water and china cups. The spa: I have had some of the best massages of my life at the spa here. My favorite is the Javanese. Masseuses are expertly trained and accommodating with any issues you may have. Friends of mine have had waxing done with excellent results. The beach: Great for lounging and a gentle swim.

It's a quiet place..I really enjoyed my stay.. the staff was nice and very easy to deal with upon check in and check out.. its not too far from town..the room was clean also the bathroom..the owner just cleaned the pool only to give fun to my daughter..really appreciate that..will stay with the same homestay if i come again.
