All you can read about Ringa (manager) in previous reviews it's true, he is just great. Food is amazing, bungalows very spacious, cozy, beautifully decorated and comfy. Loved my stay here and would love to come back!

Terimakasih homestay is situated in Pulau Mansuar and offers a private beach area, a garden and a terrace. There is an in-house restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. We have been there for a week and we enjoyed our stay tremendously. Very beautiful bungalow with direct access to the ocean, very beautiful snorkeling right in front of the door. Everything was very well organized, almost like in a professional hotel. Food was great, always fresh. Bungalow, baths and restaurant always clean as possible. Great location for lots of excursions. We stayed in Raja in four different places, this one is definitely highly recommended. Last but not least, great owners and excellent staff. Thank you for a wonderful time!

Wai Resort - Raja Ampat features a garden, private beach area, a terrace and restaurant in Pulau Birie. The accommodation provides a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, room service and free WiFi. This resort is exceptional. Of course it’s more money than the usual homestay however, the value is there. The entire resort is extremely well managed, maintained and is staffed with very professional employees. The beach hut is spacious, well laid out and steps away from the Wai reef. My son and I swam with turtles, stingrays, cuttlefish and thousands of other fish! We enjoyed getting to know Siti and Hana. They served our delicious meals everyday. They are friendly and cheerful, will know your name from the start. When I booked this resort, the owner/manager was responsive right away and throughout. The resident manager Restu is excellent also. I have food allergies and they accommodated me without issues. Restu coordinated our pick up from a different homestay an hour away and our drop off back to Sorong after our stay. The transportation was punctual and professional. If you love sunsets, sunrises and the night sky - you will get your fill here. They are seen very well from the main dock.

Situated in Pulau Mansuar, Nyande Raja Ampat provides accommodation with seating area. This beachfront property offers access to a balcony. No need to repeat what's said already in other reviews about the accommodation. The only downside is that you need to book way in advance to secure a spot. The relatively new diving shop is also awesome. Freddy is a great guide who can both read strong currents and take care of newbies. The diving groups are small, equipments are new and the tank is generous with 220 bar most of the time. Highly recommended!

Set in Kri in the West Papua region, Eddo Homestay features a balcony and sea views. The property has quiet street views. All the staff were genuinely friendly and always ready to help. The local manager in particular was fantastic—very approachable, always available, and quick to arrange tours for us whenever we requested them. Everything was well organised and punctual, from the snorkeling trips to breakfast, lunch, and dinner times, which we really appreciated. Just a small tip for future guests: bring a flashlight. The rooms can be quite dark in the evening, making it difficult to read or do simple things. A flashlight is also very useful for exploring the jetty next to the homestay at night, where you can see marine life—highly recommended! The pictures on Booking do not do this place justice, it is even more beautiful in person.

Located in Waisai and only 2.7 km from Waisai Torang Cinta Beach, Raja Ampat Koba-koba Guest House provides accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. The room is good and clean, but fairly basic. The terrace on the other hand is outstanding. It's worth spending a night in Waisai just so you can stay here! The food was the best I had in Raja Ampat.

Set in Besir in the West Papua region, "Shady Sea Raja Ampat" features a terrace and mountain views. Boasting a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. What a wonderful homestay in a stunning location. Julia,her family and staff were fabulous hosts always very friendly even though we had a language barrier. They provided a superb escape to relax and unwind. We stayed for 8 nights which to some may seem too long but there was plenty to do with the day trips on offer all of which were far cheaper than resort prices. We hired kayaks for a day, visited the local village as well as enjoying plenty of snorkeling trips. Visited Tanjung putus channel twice, Friwen, Arborek Island, Manta trip, Gam bay jellyfish and bat cave. All trips were well organised with lunch provided as needed. Travel was by long boat, great fun with Andre and Billy. The homestay is clean and well maintained with plenty of water for drinking and washing. The food was terrific, Julia and her sister are very good cooks. The meals were varied and tasty. We loved the fresh fish, chicken, omelettes and the variety of fresh vegetable dishes. The fresh fruit, banana fritters, pancakes, small cakes and donuts were v good too. Meal times were breakfast at 7, lunch at midday, snack at 4 then dinner at 7. Our only difficulty was that our eSIM provider didn’t work there (some guests had 4G). This meant we couldn’t use google translate so sometimes communication was tricky. We learned to trust their organisation and go with the flow as they were always out to give us the best time. We give this homestay 10 out of 10. It’s a wonderful way to get the genuine homestay experience with lovely locals.

Featuring sea views, Logbond Cozy Guesthouse offers accommodation with a bar, around 2.4 km from Waisai Torang Cinta Beach. Boasting room service, this property also provides guests with a sun... Excellent location, extremely clean room and great aircon. Maria is a lovely host and excellent cook, she also runs a small bakery here. She also organised a scooter for me to explore Waisai. We were only there for a night so didn’t enquire about tours. The bathroom is very spacious, and the beds comfortable and clean. This is really a hidden gem, it’s within walking distance to the harbour so perfect for an overnight stay before heading to Raja Ampat. You can also relax on the swing on the jetty. We were so lucky to find this clean homestay! We also felt very safe as they lock the gate to the jetty and our boom in the evenings. Definitely would stay here again on the way to Raja Ampat.

Situated in Pulau Mansuar in the West Papua region, Seahorse Homestay has a terrace and sea views. Towels and bed linen are available in the homestay. Adin and Eco are just really lovely people. It’s nice to chat with them! The bungalow is clean and from the balcony you can watch the sunset. What we liked most is the excellent food. The chef is doing a really good job. Also for vegetarians they are good yummy options (tempeh, tofu). Adin offers also day trips for snorkeling etc. The other guests liked that a lot! We were mostly diving. The boat from the dive center just picks you up from the homestay, which is really convenient.
