Mansuar Raja Ampat Bungalows heeft een tuin, een gedeelde lounge, een terras en een bar in Kri. Bin en Ringo zijn twee erg fijne hosts, waardoor we ons al snel “thuis” voelden. Hulp bij activiteiten, leuke gesprekken en goede koffie en gezelligheid. De kamers en faciliteiten zijn van goede kwaliteit. Je kan koffie, bintang of kleine gerechten kiezen. Het is dichtbij Soul Scuba Diving, maar heeft de rust van het eiland Mansuar, waar nog niet zo veel hutjes staan. Het is zeker een accommodatie die ik kan aanraden!

But we were very positively surprised by the comforts. Great snorkeling reef, lots of trip options. 2 rooms with AC available for a surcharge.

This resort is exceptional. Of course it’s more money than the usual homestay however, the value is there. The entire resort is extremely well managed, maintained and is staffed with very professional employees. The beach hut is spacious, well laid out and steps away from the Wai reef. My son and I swam with turtles, stingrays, cuttlefish and thousands of other fish! We enjoyed getting to know Siti and Hana. They served our delicious meals everyday. They are friendly and cheerful, will know your name from the start. When I booked this resort, the owner/manager was responsive right away and throughout. The resident manager Restu is excellent also. I have food allergies and they accommodated me without issues. Restu coordinated our pick up from a different homestay an hour away and our drop off back to Sorong after our stay. The transportation was punctual and professional. If you love sunsets, sunrises and the night sky - you will get your fill here. They are seen very well from the main dock.

No need to repeat what's said already in other reviews about the accommodation. The only downside is that you need to book way in advance to secure a spot. The relatively new diving shop is also awesome. Freddy is a great guide who can both read strong currents and take care of newbies. The diving groups are small, equipments are new and the tank is generous with 220 bar most of the time. Highly recommended!

All the staff were genuinely friendly and always ready to help. The local manager in particular was fantastic—very approachable, always available, and quick to arrange tours for us whenever we requested them. Everything was well organised and punctual, from the snorkeling trips to breakfast, lunch, and dinner times, which we really appreciated. Just a small tip for future guests: bring a flashlight. The rooms can be quite dark in the evening, making it difficult to read or do simple things. A flashlight is also very useful for exploring the jetty next to the homestay at night, where you can see marine life—highly recommended! The pictures on Booking do not do this place justice, it is even more beautiful in person.

An amazing homestay! A clean, beautiful cottage with a stunning view of Nam Bay. Julia and Ian were so caring and helped me out in a difficult situation. Julia cooks fantastic meals, always plenty of delicious food, tea, and coffee. We went on a boat excursion, it was amazing! My husband and I were absolutely delighted and highly recommend this wonderful homestay!

Logbond Cozy Guesthouse bevindt zich in Pulau Saonek-kecil, op 2,4 km van Pantai WTC (Waisai Torang Cinta), en biedt accommodatie met airconditioning en een bar. Excellent location, extremely clean room and great aircon. Maria is a lovely host and excellent cook, she also runs a small bakery here. She also organised a scooter for me to explore Waisai. We were only there for a night so didn’t enquire about tours. The bathroom is very spacious, and the beds comfortable and clean. This is really a hidden gem, it’s within walking distance to the harbour so perfect for an overnight stay before heading to Raja Ampat. You can also relax on the swing on the jetty. We were so lucky to find this clean homestay! We also felt very safe as they lock the gate to the jetty and our boom in the evenings. Definitely would stay here again on the way to Raja Ampat.

Seahorse Homestay bevindt zich in Pulau Mansuar in de regio West-Papua, en heeft een terras en uitzicht op de zee. Handdoeken en beddengoed worden bij de homestay verzorgd. De gastheer was een heel fijne man. Hij sprak heel goed Engels en at ook altijd samen met de gasten. De rest van het personeel was ook heel lief en fijn. De locatie is heel mooi. Het eten was gevarieerd en heel lekker. We zagen de walking shark een paar keer gewoon aan de Homestay. Ook het fluoriserende plankton was een avond zichtbaar. De uitstappen met de Homestay waren heel mooi: we zagen heel veel manta’s en bij de snorkelen aan de Sauwanbarek was prachtig: schildpadden, haaien en super veel andere vissen.
