Everyone was super helpful and sorted our private transfer to the volcano and then onto lake toba at an amazing price! Our driver was also very friendly! The rooms are amazing and the location is perfect!

This place is clean, has amazing view of the Lake Toba, has durians, has cute cats, is quiet, has air conditioner, has comfortable bed, at an authentic and strategic location to explore north and south of Samosir island, and is walking distance to restaurants and local foods. And rest assured that Dimmer (the host) will take care of you and make arrangements for you - Truly the best homestay I have ever stayed at in a very beautiful place.

TheJungleGuide - Lodges & Treks tilbyr et utendørsbasseng, hage, en fellesstue og restaurant i Bukit Lawang. Dette overnattingsstedet har romservice og kan i tillegg skilte med et badeland. Veldig hyggelige små bambushytter inne i jungelen, men samtidig kort vei til landsbyen.. god frokost. Rent.. alle hyttene hadde en fantastisk liten terrasse… virkelig stemning fra jungelen Gjorde en dags jungeltrekking med folkene fra The JungelGuide - kunne ikke bedt om mere - fantastisk stemning, kunnskapsrike, tok godt vare på oss alle, inkl våre to barn på 9 og 12 år på turen. Fikk sett orangutang m.m. avsluttet med bading i elva samt raftingtur… fantastisk dag.. takk til guidene og personalet for et minneverdig opphold

One of the best homestays I’ve stayed at in my 4 months of traveling SE Asia. Very comfortable private room with great air conditioning. The staff are extremely helpful with any recommendations or help you may need.

Rambai Tree Jungle Lodges - Family Friendly ligger i Bukit Lawang og har en hage, terrasse, massasje og gratis WiFi over hele overnattingsstedet. This is the most amazing place to stay. I've been to the jungle in India, Borneo and the Phillipines but Rambai Tree Eco Jungle Huts not only provided the most comfortable accommodation but they made us feel like family ❤️🙏. Romi and Tia communicated efficiently and clearly from the moment I booked, several months ago. They provided a very reasonably priced, friendly and knowledgeable return airport shuttle - Wayhu, and the best guides - Ronie and Nanda. We saw Orangutans, Gibbons, Thomas Leaf Monkeys, and a monitor lizard in just a half day trek! As well as being visited daily by the local Macaque troop and several large bats. Tia cooked us the most fantastic farewell dinner and we were genuinely sad to leave. Nothing was too much trouble for them ❤️

Sumatran Ethical Expeditions and Trekking tilbyr en hage, terrasse, en restaurant og bar i Bukit Lawang. I tillegg til familierom kan dette overnattingsstedet tilby lekeplass. We had the best time at Sumatra expedition lodge. The room was spacious, clean and had air con and a fan. The family were lovely and the workers were so friendly and helpful. We had amazing meals at the lodge (our favourite the tempeh rengdeng). We also did a jungle trek organised by the lodge. We had the most incredible day with our tour guide Oman and his helper Onkey (sorry if wrong spelling). Oman was so great with 20 plus years of experience in the jungle he was so knowledgeable and we saw so much beautiful jungle and wildlife. He also deeply cared about the environment and was a great advocate for animal wellbeing and safety. We were fortunate enough to see lots of monkeys and observe the orangutan’s up close. Definitely recommend 10/10
