The kitchen is fully equipped, so if you would like to cook a meal, it is definitely possible. However, the pub, Joe Watty’s is just at the end of the lane if you prefer to go for a pint or a meal. I loved that this facility had a washer/dryer so I was able to get some washing done. Very helpful and thoughtful. I also loved the full kitchen, even though we didn’t get a chance to cook, because I was able to wash and sanitize our water bottles. The host had prepared a binder filled with helpful tips about the property as well as several pages of information of what to do/see on the island.

Without hesitation, I can say Aran Walkers Lodge was our favorite stay and "picture perfect" from the moment we checked in until we checked out! Much like the magnificent landscapes, warm welcoming people, delicious food, the historical pubs castles and monuments on Inis Mor, our stay at Aran Walker's Lodge was exactly what comes to mind when I think of Ireland! The view from the lodge is stunning and the location of the property is a beautiful bike ride away from everything we wanted to see (Wormhole, Dún Aonghasa, The Seal Colony, the Sweater Market and much more)....They even provide the bikes for a small fee (much easier and economical than renting from the pier). Our room and bathroom were spotlessly clean and quaintly decorated, the complimentary breakfast was delicious, and the owner Sean was welcoming and helpful- he advised us on walks, transport and places to eat. THE perfect host! And, Julia...what an absolute gem this beautiful and brilliant girl is! The care, kindness and extra effort she put into any request we had made it feel like we were staying with family...To think she is a volunteer is unbelievable to me. We cannot Thank you enough for turning our dream Ireland Elopement into reality!

The hosts Nollaig and Ciaran were really friendly and very helpful. While walking to a different part of the island for a work event the morning we checked out it started to rain. Ciaran contacted Nollaig who was on her way to do some shopping and she kindly gave us a lift to avoid getting soaked!

Tigh Fitz is a charming, family-owned property that has been in the Fitzpatrick family for generations. Beautiful stunning view from our room over the water. Peaceful. Great breakfast. Penny was attentive to our needs.

Overlooking its own beach, Ard Einne House Bed & Breakfast provides en suite accommodation with views of the Galway and Clare coastlines. Clodagh was super friendly and offered so many great suggestions to us. Breakfast area was lovely and the food itself was just what we needed to start the day. She even provided non-dairy butter for me with breakfast.
