The accommodation was decorated with great care and love. Also the owner was very friendly, accommodating and gave us a few insider tips for the next hurling matches;)

Beds were comfortable and the shower pressure was great and the water was hot. Nice sized refrigerator and location was walking distance to town. The free parking was nice and we appreciate being able to pick up our key when we needed it.

Location was quiet but close to all amenities and train station. Has everything you need for short or long stay, exactly as pictures very cosy and lovely furnishings. Very clean.

The Stables Townhouse B&B, is located on the famous Georgian streetscape of Oxmantown Mall, in the heart of Birr and directly opposite Birr Theatre & Arts Centre. We had a little mix up over the night of the booking and the place was full . However I have to say the staff moved mountains and found us a room nearby in Banagher . I was travelling with friends from Italy and this Irish way of sorting out a problem was really impressive . Thank you again to all the staff - hopefully we'll get to stay with you next time !

One of the best stays i had in Ireland, if youre visiting somewhere close, dont hesitate to book. Comfortable, quiet and relax. Owners are very firendly and helpful.
