The interior of the house is also beautiful: stylish furniture, cozy rooms, yet modern, satisfying every need. The owner is extremely kind. We arrived very late (after 11 p.m.), yet he welcomed us warmly. We had to leave before breakfast in the morning, so he packed us a snack. We can recommend it to everyone! Go there! Take a look around, go on excursions in the area. It will be unforgettable. Gyönyörű ház és park! Lynster House in Monaghan has 5-star accommodation with a garden and barbecue facilities. Elizabeth was a great host; she provided a home-cooked breakfast with locally sourced ingredients from Monaghan, which was fantastic. The rooms were cute and cozy. The bathroom was large, and the shower was very friendly, with excellent water pressure. This was our first overnight stay in Ireland in a commercial, non-hotel environment. We didn't know what to expect from the B&B experience, and overall, it was great. Our host was very knowledgeable of things to do and places to stay in the other cities of Ireland we were traveling to.

Paula, the host, was super friendly and welcoming. The place was spotless, and I was impressed with how clean everything was. The bed and pillows were so comfy. I honestly haven’t slept that well in ages. I have trouble sleeping so a good bed, pillow, and ambiance is very important to me. The bathroom was spotless, really clean, and well-organized, which made it easy to get ready in the morning. I also had an amazing view from my room, which added to the peaceful vibe of the place. Breakfast was great too. There was a lot to choose from. Sausage, bacon, eggs, plus cereals, butter, jam, milk, and coffee. Everything was fresh and delicious. Paula also let me keep my luggage at the B&B for a few extra hours, which was really helpful. The place is super quiet and calm, with no noise at all. It’s the perfect spot to relax. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

Offering a restaurant, Riverbank, Country Pub and Guesthouse is located in the countryside 10 minutes’ drive from Carrickmacross. We love the Riverbank, have been going for a few years and never been disappointed. A nice quiet getaway with great food and lovely staff.
