I loved everything about this place. Big rooms with comfy beds and massive bathrooms, good food, great massage and spa, the Christmas ambiance was amazing (so many trees!), I can't wait to go back.

The proprietors were super helpful—carrying our luggage up and down the steps, without asking giving me a soothing hot drink with lemon and honey for my cold. The breakfast area was so welcoming and everything was comfortable—the bed and the dining room seats.

A lovely spacious room with en-suite shower room. Nothing is too much trouble for Ron and Maureen, who are great hosts. The breakfast choice is excellent- pastries, pancakes, fresh fruit, cereals as well as the full Irish. I will also miss being greeted by Bonnie, Clyde and Bailey their beautiful labrador retrievers. With my own family living nearby I hope to return again, and wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else.

Beautiful place in a charming location in Sligo. The host greeted us and had time for a chat and to show us around. There is a comfortable common area where you can sit and unwind. The room was very clean, spacious and we had the best sleep! The highlight of the stay was a fantastic breakfast- there was a choice of sourdough breads, yoghurt/berries, fantastic cooked Irish breakfast and the host even organised crepes for my 10 year old! I would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone who wants to explore Sligo while staying in a tranquil, cozy location with a fantastic lake view, comfortable beds and excellent breakfast!
