Set within 2 km of Mahabodhi Temple and 1.4 km of Thai Monastery, shangrila stay features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Bodh Gaya. This is a very lovely stay, Santosh, the owner is superkind! It feels really homey there. The room was spacious and everything was very clean. There is a small desk, enough place to put your belongings. The wifi works very well, the bathroom is nice. There is a roof where you can have breakfast and meditate/chill. The area is much more quiet than the center of Bodhgaya, but still not far, easy to get a tuktuk to go around. If I had any questions or requests, Santosh helped immediately. Thanks a lot!

I booked for 3 nights and ended up staying 6. Housetale is an oasis of tranquility amidst the craziness of India. A place to read, meditate, do yoga, contemplate and ofcourse connect to fellow travellers. The location is quite secluded giving it an intimate, retreat-like vibe. I had a great time, made new friends and hostel owner is so kind, involved and funny. He even organised a bbq for all the guests. Highly recommend staying here!

Located in Bodh Gaya, 2.1 km from Mahabodhi Temple, Tara Guest House provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. We had an amazing stay here, the staff was very friendly and the project that they are supporting with over 700 students to change their local community is inspiring. We left inspired by the children who have been given an opportunity due to the amazing work of the staff here. It was very nice to see and speak with the children during our stay. Two big thumbs up. Additionally, the took great care of us to help organize tours, help us send a package with the India Post, and organize other sightseeing during our stay. We will stay there again and I recommend it to anyone who wants to have a local authentic experience with people making a true change in their community.
