The Leela Palace New Delhi perfectly exemplifies the magnificent architecture, grace and elegance of Lutyens’ Delhi. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. The Royal Club rooms were spacious and club access was comfortable after a long flight. Staff was incredibly welcoming.

The Maidens Hotel is an oasis in a crazy city. There is a heated swimming pool. The rooms are large and comfortable. The breakfast is excellent. The staff are simply wonderful.

The area is surprisingly quiet and walkable for Delhi. As a solo woman traveler, I felt very safe walking around at 9pm at night. There are nice restaurants within walking distance, and the staff, particularly Bani, are a huge help with recommendations for both restaurants and tourist things to do. I really loved this area as a launching point for exploring other parts of Delhi and would highly recommend!
