You can get lost in any of the common spaces looking at the art and antiques. Rich with history, including a table at which Gandhiji and Pundit Nehru sat, which makes your hair stand on end. Cannot recommend more.

Each accommodation at the 4-star hotel has city views, and guests can enjoy access to a terrace and to a restaurant. The accommodation features a 24-hour front desk, a concierge service and currency exchange for guests. They offered to pick us up from the airport at no cost but our tour included a driver so we didn't take them up on that. Unfortunately our driver had problems getting to their location and we were circling the area. The hotel's general manager Aami actually hunted down our car by foot and hoped in to guide our driver. As soon as we stepped foot into the nice hotel, they treated us wonderfully. They brought our bags up to the room, welcomed us with drinks and made sure we were comfortable. I told Aami to order us a dinner with dishes he recommended and it made our long travel day so worthwhile. The curries were so rich and flavourful and the Masala Chai was the best we had on the trip. The food was brought to us by room service and they have a new restaurant opening up on the top floor of the hotel. We were introduced to the owner of the hotel who made us feel right at home and showed me the restaurant space they were renovating with a beautiful rooftop patio that is opening up over the next week. I would recommend eating here, the food was delicious and safe for foreigners. The room was nicely decorated, very clean and offered hot water and air conditioning!
