Even though it’s located on a main road, the room was surprisingly quiet and I didn’t hear any traffic at all. Access to both the room and the Sassi was very easy, which made exploring the city simple and enjoyable. The small kitchenette was a real bonus — perfect for heating up food and making hot drinks whenever I needed. The complimentary Italian breakfast offered both mornings at the café just across the road was a bonus. A lovely touch that added to the overall convenience of the stay. Overall, a comfortable and well‑located place that made my time in Matera even better.

Beautiful room, and the tub was so nice and relaxing! The hostess was so wonderful, and the breakfast was delicious! We definitely want to come back and stay here again, highly recommended!

About 15 minutes from Matera so if you want to visit the "Sassi" and not deal with the crowds and noise, definitely suggest staying here. We did not try the restaurant but breakfast was very good and fresh. Personnel super friendly. There also common terraces where you can sit and sip a glass of wine during sunset and just relax and enjoy the scenery.
