This has the best view in Matera! Room is so cosy and nice. The owner Milena was extremely thoughtful and sent us a very detailed message on how to find the apartment and recommended places to visit. She was always available to answer all our queries! The apartment was clean, comes with toiletries and our favourite was the small balcony in front of our door which had the best view! Definitely coming back here if we ever visit Matera again!

The location was great and the host was very responsive. It is within a five minute walk of the sassi and many great restaurants. The heater in the room works well, which is a plus. We also enjoyed the breakfast provided at a nearby bakery.

The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Nice & modern design walls. Fully equipped common kitchen near reception. Dzina was very helpful and gave us very good advice where to go and do.

Aquatio Cave Luxury Hotel & SPA is situated inside the Matera Sassi UNESCO World Heritage site. Featuring a on-site restaurant and free WiFi, the hotel is located 400 metres from MUSMA Museum. The breakfasts were fabulous, the staff helpful and the location perfect! The beds were very comfortable, and the facility was very clean throughout.

This delightful and unique hotel was a highlight of our trip. All the facilities and hospitality from the host Antonio were second to none. Located in the centre of the old city we walked to all the vantage points to see this incredible location. A bonus was the excellent local red wine sold exclusively through this venue!!

Loved the location. The view of Matera is stunning from the breakfast room. You can walk to everything. Just bring comfortable walking shoes! Antonia was welcoming and very helpful. Thankfully, they have a private parking garage, very useful with the ZTL restrictions. I would definitely recommend Le Origini!
