Our room was spacious and well appointed. The owners were very helpful in giving advice about the area. The location is ideal for visiting Matera - a beautiful ancient city although I imagine it might get very crowded in the height of the summer season. Breakfast was excellent.

The location is perfect, with an amazing view from the balcony! It was an interesting experience to spend one night in the cave, since it's comfortable and warm. We are very thankful that we were be able to leave our luggage at 10 am on the arrival day and until 5 pm next day. It was very helpful! Milena provided the map and additional information about the town and restaurants.

It’s one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed. Breakfast & dinner were included. The service was top notch. The staff were very friendly. The facility is so clean. The indoor pool was awesome. I love everything about this cave hotel. Elevator is also available.

The staff were incredibly kind - they upgraded our ‘cave’ at no cost. He also did an excellent job to make sure we were comfortable. The location was absolutely phenomenal. Everything we had planned was a 2-10min walk. No parking provided but the garage they suggested was close by. The room exceeded all my expectations. I also enjoyed that we got to select what we wanted for breakfast and had it delivered to our room. Mattress was also very comfortable. Made for a very special weekend.

The location is right next to the old town with the best view. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The room is comfortable and clean. They provided breakfast with the coffee shop just in the corner, the coffee and croissants were delicious.

From the time we arrived at the reception we knew we were in for a great stay. The city and the hotel were magical , we did not want to leave. Antonio gave us the warmest welcome. He was informative and you knew the entire staff were dedicated to making your stay the best it could be. The breakfast was delightful with typical Italian selections and alternatives to meet anyone’s needs. It’s hard to put your camera down even the bathroom is worth a picture. We travel extensively and this stay definitely stands out . We would recommend and hope to return someday to enjoy their delightful wines and ambience , Millie Grazie
