This was a great hotel! Our room was clean and beautiful, with an amazing huge bathroom. Our bed was super comfy. It felt like a real gem, such a nice place with great staff and great breakfast, and just steps from the Duomo and the Accademia.

The ubication is fantastic. Most important places are walking near from La Gemma.
But the best of all is the people working at La Gemma, always trying to be helpful and kind. All of us my wife and our friends felt like home. Unfortunately, we had to leave to continue our travel!

We loved everything about the property. Quite possibly one of our favourite accommodations we have stayed in this Europe trip. It was so comfortable, spacious, clean and stylish. The aircon was extremely cold, great for the summer heat in Florence. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The location was also so convenient!

It was one of the best accommodations I have ever stayed in. Everything was very clean and the apartment is beautiful and modern. There is a large free parking lot nearby the accommodation (about a 3 minutes walk). The owner was great, she recommended places for us to visit and they were all excellent.

We stayed here at the end of our Via Degli Dei after hiking for several days. The staff were very friendly and helped us with finding a restaurant as well as with information regarding our onward journey. There are shops and restaurants very near by and we had the best breakfast selection of all the accommodations on the Degli Dei.

They bought us a bottle of wine to say sorry for the problems. However, only one gentleman was prepared to be sympathetic. The other reception staff were not that understanding. Accomodation was very clean and was done to a high standard. Bed was okay. Trendy accommodation and if I was a student, I would be very happy with the place. However I was on holiday and it's NOT acceptable to not state that this is student accommodation on the advertisement. Location was okay.

The hotel surpassed our expectations - the room, the bathroom, and overall the hotel are clean. It offers all the necessary accommodations for a short stay - our room was airconditioned, with double bed, TV, and mini fridge, as well as with its own bathroom supplied with toiletries. The breakfast was delicious. The room was cleaned every day. The staff was very helpful - they allowed us to deposit our luggage in advance, before check-in, and welcomed us in the hotel outside of the official opening hours of the reception.
