Located just a few steps from the beach, Hotel Marina offers accommodation in Monterosso al Mare, in the Cinque Terre National Park. The staff was very kind and even greeted us around town, the room was very well kept and clean and most importantly very homey. We felt right at home! The breakfast was also excellent, with a small buffet of cakes and desserts and a menu of various dishes, both savory and sweet, all very well-made and in generous amounts. Breakfast was also served in a truly wonderful terrace full of lemon trees which made the experience even more beautiful. The free beach was also a 5-minute walk away and we could always find a space for two towels in the afternoon, which meant that when coming back from exploring the other places we could always put on our swimming suits and go snorkeling (very recommended since the water is crystal clear and full of small fish). We could also borrow their beach towels which was very useful. The way from the train station was a bit uphill (although the whole town is full of ups and downs) but overall pretty quick and full of restaurants and souvenir shops which can come in very handy. We definitely recommend the affiliated restaurant "Da Eraldo" for some good quality fish and seafood and "L'Osteria" for some good local food; the staff of both of these was also very friendly and very willing to make some small talk. We also recommend the trekking trail "Sentiero Azzurro" but be aware that there are some pretty long uphill stairways so start early in the morning if you're planning to go there in summer. Overall our stay was wonderful and there were no complications, truly a wonderful place to spend a couple of days!

Hotel La Spiaggia is on the Ligurian Sea coast, 10 metres from the beach. Offering a bar and a patio the hotel is 10 minutes’ walk from Monterosso al Mare town centre. The breakfast was amaizing, not only a usual Italian sweet crossiant but the continental choice is also available. The staff was friendly, helpul and kind. Very close to the beach and the train station, really good place to stay to visit Cinque terre but also be on the beach. There is a private parking available for the hotel guests, which is very useful! Next time I would definetely choose this hotel again!

Located 250 metres from the beach in Monterosso al Mare, the Margherita is a modern hotel with a peaceful patio. It offers free Wi-Fi and air-conditioned rooms with a fridge and a satellite LCD TV. Everythings was amazing! The people at the hotel are very friendly and helpful.

Just 100 metres from Fegina Beach, Hotel Villa Adriana is set among palm trees. It offers a Ligurian restaurant, a pool, and classically furnished rooms with an LCD TV. La situació, confort, l'amabilitat del personal, netedat. Un hotel extremadament agradable.

Offering panoramic views of the Cinque Terre coastline, Albergo Suisse runs a free scheduled shuttle service to Monterosso, 1 km away. All air-conditioned rooms come with satellite TV. Parking is... Great place , can’t believe it’s only 3* It’s one of those hotels high up and overlooking everything that makes you wonder what it’s like to stay there , and I can tell you it was great ! Free shuttle bus to deal with the hill down to town and back up ! I’d read somewhere that breakfast was only a croissant/cake affair , well it’s not , it’s a comprehensive hot and cold buffet that is most enjoyable .

A recently renovated guest house in La Spezia and within less than 1 km of Castello San Giorgio, Lina Suites & Rooms has a garden, comfortable soundproof rooms and free WiFi. Property was clean, easy to check in and out, great location and accessible. There was parking near by but it was paid.

Situated within 4.5 km of Castello San Giorgio and 31 km of Carrara Convention Center, Congregazione Suore Figlie di San Francesco di Sales features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom... Nos recibieron muy bien, el lugar estaba muy limpio y la habitación era muy amplia. Había una heladera afuera de la habitación, en el pasillo, que podíamos usar todas los huéspedes.
