It was the best night ever! I’m visiting Japan for 2 weeks only so I have only booked one night! I never wanted to leave! Everything was well taken care of! The staff were amazing and they made you feel like home! I was reluctant to book the dinner because it was specified it was Italian style, however, I couldn’t be happier I actually had my dinner there! I would specifically recommend the spaghetti with Japanese clams and bamboo! This dish was mind blowing! It was Italian but with a creative Japanese twist that made each dish unique and delicious! The staff was always there to help but also you had your privacy! It is up in the mountains and very private which is what I was looking for! I had a room with a private onsen and it was simply amazing! I would highly recommend booking a room here! I was actually walking up the mountain from the bus stop and one of the hotel staff saw me on the road with my luggage and stopped his car and helped me get there the rest of the way! He was so mind and thoughtful, and I will remember this forever! They go above and beyond for their guests and I can’t wait to go there again on my next Japan visit!

The food was the best part, each of our three dinners was unique and delicious. The breakfast spread was nice, and the wine lounge (with snacks, beer, and juice as well) was a great place to work with a view of Mt Fuji. Our room had a nice view of Mt Fuji as well, and the open air bath was always the perfect temperature. We went to the hotel hot spring during the day and had the entire place to ourselves (other guests were likely out exploring the area).

Everything-the staff were very polite and helpful. Very quick check in. The room was spacious, very clean with very comfortable bed. Breakfast fabulous. The hotel’s location is perfect-very close to the castle and all important viewing points. We had access to the lounge club which additionally made our stay very pleasant.

This was by far the best place we stayed at during our trip to Japan. The rooms were extremely comfortable with superb beds, and the staff were genuinely the kindest and most welcoming we met. The onsen was beautiful and relaxing, and the Japanese breakfast was absolutely excellent. The hotel is perfectly equipped — from bathroom amenities to robes and kimono for the onsen — everything felt thoughtfully prepared. Otherwise, truly outstanding. Great location too, just a short walk from the station and the fish market. Highly recommended — simply top.
