The hotel seems brand new, and the rooms are nicely set up with tatami mats and comfortable beds. Just like in a ryokan, you leave your shoes at the entrance. This gives the hotel a very cozy feel despite its size. The staff is extraordinary. I never had to wait to talk to a staff member and they were very helpful. The onsen is one of the best I experienced in larger hotels like this. It is a very nice oasis to come back to after a long day. I particularly liked that they also have a sauna. The location is ideal. There are lots of restaurants and bars literally right outside the hotel, the lake and the castle are both just a short stroll away. If I come back to Matsue, I will stay here again for sure.

Em Fukuyama, a 5 minutos a pé de Fukuyama Castle Museum, Anchor Hotel Fukuyama apresenta um jardim, um terraço e um bar. The hotel is 5 minutes walk from the train station and 5 minutes walk from the castle. I could even see a piece of the castle between the houses from the balcony of the room. The staff is super polite, sincere and friendly and speaks excellent English. I was glad to have the opportunity to practice Japanese and I am grateful that they all used simple Japanese. I was given a complimentary coffee upon check-in. In the evening, it was interesting to try shōchū for the first time in the hotel's bar. The design of the room is incredible, very modern and cozy! The walls in the room are thin, so you can hear other guests talking, but no one was noisy, so I slept well. The lavender soap also helped. For breakfast, I chose a hot dog and tea. It was delicious and filling. You can buy some denim staff at the hotel. Only after the tour of the castle did I learn that it is locally produced, and I regret not buying anything. Well, next time! I really liked Fukuyama Castle, Sanzo Inari Shrine, art and history museums. I didn't have time to visit the Holocaust Education Center and Fukuyama Auto & Clock Museum, and my visit in Kusado Inari Shrine was very short, so I would like to travel to Fukuyama again. And next time I will definitely stay at this hotel again. Fukuyama and kind people of Fukuyama will stay in my heart.

Miyajima Guesthouse Mikuniya is a traditional Japanese-style guesthouse located on Miyajima (Itsukushima). Funcionários muito prestativos e receptivos, nos ajudaram com takkyubin apesar das nossas múltiplas dúvidas; café da manhã e jantar (curry) muito gostosos! Ficamos em uma casa separada do prédio principal, com um visual bem tradicional, dormimos em futons… muito agradável!

Situado apenas a 5 minutos de carro do Porto de Ferry de Miyajima, o Miyajima Seaside Hotel apresenta um serviço de transporte gratuito e vistas maravilhosas para o mar. We had our 2 year old with us and they were super accommodating and had a lot of kid friendly options available. Meals were great and meal time banquet hall was comfortable for my little one to move around as needed. There is also a kid corner with toys and entertained my LO. The staff were all amazing and we were able to communicate our requests very easily in English. It was very easy to call the hotel shuttle from the ferry and they also brought us back after our stay. We were able to leave our items with them after check out and they brought the items right to the ferry when we were ready to leave. Always plenty of food at meals and satisfy all needs from 2 year old to teen to senior grandparents appetite. Great facilities for family travel.
